PILOT'S NOTE
How to fly a little farther
Reading the wind matters as much as your throw.
Start at a gentle angle
Swipe toward the upper right to launch. Start around 20–35°. Too steep loses speed quickly; too low reaches the ground early.
Hold, release, repeat
Hold the screen or climb button to lift the nose; release to glide. If the wings shake, release to recover speed. Use short holds when needed.
Try the same wind again
Vary your launch angle and timing on each retry. Tap BEST above for your latest 20 flights. Share a challenge link to compete in the same wind.
Three winds, three chances
- Fan · Gain speed
- Enter the orange fan-shaped area near the ground to accelerate. Approach low, then lift your nose before touching down.
- Updraft · Gain height
- Regain altitude inside the mint trapezoid. Each updraft starts at a different height, so line up before entering.
- Whirlwind · Gain both
- Occasional purple swirls boost height and speed together, helping you reach the next wind.
